Ronnie Treece

Ronnie Treece, 90, of Jonesboro, passed away March 31, 2023, in the NEA Baptist Hospital in Jonesboro. Born July 8, 1932, in Pittsburgh, PA; to the late, Joseph and Mary Cianelli Sbuscio. He was a Veteran of the U.S. Army serving during the Korean Conflict. Ronnie was an extremely talented, motivated, well-organized, hardworking professional Entertainer, Actor, Singer, Comedian, Radio Talk Show Host, Producer, Director, and Artist. He performed at local and major venues across the nation and around the world to multiple countries (Asia and Thailand), on TV and across the air waves. He wrote over 100 Broadway style follies and productions, multiple comedy skits, countless TV & Radio Commercials, and designed and sketched (Gods Champion the Crusader); he hosted radio shows “People Talk” at WBCW Pittsburgh and “Take the A Train” at KASU FM ASU, and co-hosted "Our Kind of Town" on WIIC TV Pittsburgh; he organized and directed many fundraisers and community events; his voice, stories, and tales will live on through his recordings, cd’s and dvd’s. Ronnie was a faithful man of God, that showed in his daily life, and the kind of works he produced and events he was associated with. He was a member of the First Baptist Church in Walnut Ridge. Ronnie was united in marriage to Dianne Floyd on November 8, 1989. He is preceded in death by his parents; two sisters and two brothers. Survivors include his wife, Dianne; one son, Ron (Debra Banach) Frey of Pittsburgh, PA; two daughters, Sirina (Neil) Barton of Pittsburgh, PA and Tracy (Brian) Harp of Jonesboro; two granddaughters, Michelle (Bobby) Moore and Serena Seese; two great grandchildren, Isla and Axton Moore; his father-n-law, Joe Floyd of Walnut Ridge; several dearly loved nieces, nephews and cousins; and many other relatives and friends. Funeral Service will be Thursday, April 6, 2023, at 2 P.M. in the Bryan Chapel with Dr. Kenneth Worthington D.D. and Bro. Jake Guenrich officiating. Pallbearers will be Brian Harp, Allen Williams, Dale Stratton, Brian Emison, Randy, and Jeff Floyd. Interment will follow in the Jonesboro Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be from 1 P.M. till 2 P.M. Thursday.
